"I absolutely dare you to listen to this CD without a lump in your throat
or longing for the beach, high tide, and your sails in the air...."
Mark T. Gould / Soundwaves Magazine
Multi gold and platinum recording artist Paul Cotton takes the stage with his
band for two very special "don't miss" performances. Country rock band Poco's
dominant songwriter, lead vocalist and lead guitarist, Paul's 45-year career has
yielded countless albums and accolades, and his staying power is endless.
Born in the deep South and raised on the south side of Chicago, the soulful
influences of his roots can still be heard in his songs. Still waters run deep, and this
quiet man writes songs about love and longing, painting pictures with his brilliant
story telling. And his guitar sound has been described as "Big Cowboy".
With local musicians Marty Stonely, Russ Skabudda, Joel Nelson, and Greg
Shandley, this band will perform favorites like Poco's "Heart of the Night"
and "Crazy Love", plus originals, Trop Rock, and New Orleans-influenced tunes
with a southern tinge.
Don't miss this opportunity to hear "a legend in his own write"!
